Downloads & access
How do I get my purchase?
E-Guide: Right after checkout, you’ll see a Download button on the confirmation page, and we’ll email you a secure download link. Both are instant once payment is approved.
Design Services: "The DIY SPARK" - the same as e-guides.
"The Style Palette" and "The Digital Vision" - immediately after purchase, you will receive an email with a link to your Design Brief. This is a quick form to upload photos and details of your space. Once you submit it, I get to work!
When will I receive my files?
E-Guides: Instantly!
Design Services: "The DIY Spark" - instantly!
"The Style Palette" and "The Digital Vision" - once you submit your completed Design Brief (photos and measurements), your custom design package will be delivered to your inbox within 3-5 business days.
How long do download links stay active?
Forever. Once you purchase a Flora Flux guide or receive your custom design files, they belong to your garden library for life. You have unlimited access so that you can refer back to them every season. If we ever update an E-Guide you purchased with new tips, we will automatically email you the latest edition at no additional cost.
I didn’t receive the email. What now?
E-Guides: First, check spam. Then search your email for “Flora Flux” or “Download your files.” Still nothing? Contact us, and we’ll resend your link.
Design Services: Check your spam folder and search for "Let's start your garden design." If you don't see your intake form within 10 minutes of purchase, message us, and we will send it directly!
Printing & use
What format are the guides?
E-Guides are delivered as universally readable PDFs. You can open them on any device or print for personal use.
Design Services: Your custom moodboards, shopping lists, and layouts are delivered as high-resolution PDFs. They are designed to be easily viewed on your phone so you can pull them up right at the nursery!
Can I print the guides?
Yes—home printer or local copy shop is fine for personal use. Colors can vary by printer and paper.
Can I share or use the guides commercially?
Purchases include a personal, non-transferable license.
E-Guides: You may not share, resell, upload, or use the files in paid client work or classes without written permission.
Design Services: Your custom design is created specifically for your personal property. You are welcome to share the plans with your hired landscaper or contractor to execute the design, but you may not resell or redistribute the files. Ask us about group or commercial licensing if you are a professional.
Orders, invoices & payments
Do I need an account to buy?
No—guest checkout is available. If you create an account (passwordless, email code), you can view order history and downloads in one place.
What payment methods do you accept? Is checkout secure?
We accept major cards and supported wallets (Shop Pay, Apple Pay; PayPal if enabled). Payments are processed securely by Shopify; we never see your full card details.
Do you charge VAT or sales tax?
No. Flora Flux is not VAT-registered at this time, so we don’t charge VAT or sales tax on purchases.
Can you issue a VAT invoice or apply reverse charge for my company?
We’re not VAT-registered, so we cannot issue a VAT invoice or adjust prices for VAT/reverse charge. Your receipt will state “No VAT charged.”
Refunds & Revisions
E-Guides: Due to the nature of instant digital products, guides cannot be "returned" once they are delivered to your inbox. However, if you have a technical issue or made a duplicate purchase, contact us within 14 days.
Design Services: "The DIY SPARK" - the same as e-guides.
"The Style Palette" and "The Digital Vision" - because these are custom-made for your space, you may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase only if I have not yet started your design. Once the final custom files are delivered, no refunds are offered.
Do I get revisions on my custom design?
"The Style Palette": This is a streamlined style service and does not include revisions. The moodboard and shopping list are final upon delivery.
"The Digital Vision": This package includes one (1) round of minor revisions (e.g., swapping a plant type or adjusting a specific color). Major revisions that require a completely new style direction will incur an additional hourly fee.
Bundles
What’s included in a bundle?
Bundles are themed sets of guides offered at a value price. Your confirmation email includes separate download links for each guide in the bundle.
If I already bought one guide, can I upgrade to a bundle?
Absolutely. If you start with a single guide and decide you want the full collection, we’re happy to help you "complete your library." Just send us an email with your order number, and we will provide a custom discount code to credit your original purchase toward the bundle price.
About Custom Design Services
Do you visit my property?
No, Flora Flux is a 100% remote design studio. We create your custom plan using the photos, measurements, and climate details you provide online.
What information do you need from me?
After checkout, you will fill out a quick Design Brief. We just need 3-4 photos of your space (phone quality is fine), rough measurements, and your sunlight/soil conditions.
What if I don't know my garden style?
We will help you figure it out! Your Design Brief includes a simple visual quiz. We use your choices to pinpoint your exact aesthetic before we start designing.
Will you give me an exact list of plants to buy?
We do not assign specific plant names (like Buxus sempervirens). Instead, we provide a Nursery Cheat Sheet with specific plant categories tailored to your climate (e.g., "A drought-tolerant evergreen, 3ft tall"). You take this to your local nursery to find plants that match the design and thrive in your soil.
Are these official landscape blueprints?
No. Our designs are conceptual. They are perfect for a DIY execution or for showing a contractor the exact layout, colors, and spacing you want, but your contractor will need to verify final measurements.
Troubleshooting & support
The file won’t open / it’s too large.
Use a stable Wi-Fi connection, ensure enough storage, and try another app/browser (Books/Acrobat/Drive/Chrome/Safari). On mobile, save to Files/Drive/Books first, then open.
How do I contact support?
